Make a difference in a child’s life
[one_half]Children with different abilities shouldn’t be excluded from having such memories. Supporters like you are the reason why thousands of children with differing abilities have the opportunity to experience more of the joys of childhood.
One of those children is a boy named Conner. When we first met Conner, he could not walk, talk, stand, sit, hold his head up, or use any of his limbs, making it difficult for him to engage with his world in any way. He also couldn’t open and close his hands, making it difficult to play with toys or hold a fork to feed himself.
Today, Conner can sit and hold his head up, plus stand and walk with assistance. In December, Conner took his first steps as his therapist held onto his shoulders. With his therapist’s help, he walked all the way across the room! This made his mom instantly burst into tears. A month later, Conner reached another major accomplishment — standing on his own without support. He is also able to feed himself independently.
Your support and the determination of Conner’s support system made these heartwarming moments possible.
Differing abilities should not take away from a great childhood.
We invite you to join others in the community who have a vision where every child gets to experience the happiness that comes with simply being a kid. Thank you for doing your part in helping a child grow strong.[/one_half] [one_half_last][/one_half_last]
