“It’s-a me, Mario!” Have you wanted to take your child to see “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” but haven’t wanted to deal with the crowds and the loud sounds? Studio Movie Grill is hosting Special Needs Screenings of the movie that will be sensory-friendly.
This Saturday, April 22, at noon, all Studio Movie Grill locations will present “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” with the lights up and the volume low. The theater says moving around, talking, and even dancing in the aisles is welcome.
Tickets are free for everyone and are only available at the box office. There are several Studio Movie Grill locations throughout the Dallas-Forth Worth area. Click here to find a location near you.
At Studio Movie Grill, you can purchase food and drinks from the comfort of your seat anytime during the moving by pressing a service button. The food and drinks will be delivered directly to your seat.
Studio Movie Grill plans to have several other Special Needs Screenings throughout the year, including showings of “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” and “Elemental.”
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is about “a plumber named Mario travels through an underground labyrinth with his brother, Luigi, trying to save a captured princess.” The movie stars Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Charlie Day. It is rated PG.
