EPAM Systems, a software development company, is spreading joy by giving specially adapted ride-on cars to eight children at The Warren Center. This nonprofit organization supports children with developmental differences and their families. This act of kindness is part of EPAM’s ongoing commitment to help children facing physical challenges through their sponsorship of the Go Baby Go Program.

In partnership with The Warren Center, EPAM ensures that each ride-on car is personalized to meet the unique needs of the child receiving it. Therapists at The Warren Center put in dedicated effort to customize these cars, creating a special and therapeutic experience for the young recipients.

The ride-on cars, designed to encourage independent mobility and social interaction, come equipped with protective tubing, user-friendly steering wheel controls, secure seat belts, and remote control capabilities for parents to ensure safety. Adding to the excitement, the cars are fitted with lights and a music-playing radio.

Adaptive toy cars

On Monday, EPAM Systems presented the toy cars to eight families at The Warren Center. It was a joy to get to see the children’s faces light up with happiness as they tested our their new cars.

EPAM Systems goes beyond geographical boundaries in their dedication to making a positive impact. While they’ve previously donated adaptable cars to nonprofits in Houston, their decision to extend this generosity to families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area reflects a commitment to inclusivity and community support.

The heart of EPAM’s involvement lies in the Go Baby Go Program, where their sponsorship enables the creation of adapted cars at a relatively low cost. These modified cars, totaling around $400 each (including the toy car and modification supplies), make independent mobility more accessible to families who might not have affordable alternatives.

As the holiday season unfolds, EPAM Systems finds joy in collaborating with The Warren Center. Designing and donating these adapted cars has become an annual highlight, bringing smiles, laughter, and a sense of freedom to the young recipients. The company hopes to continue this meaningful initiative, providing more children at The Warren Center with the chance to be kids and have fun, irrespective of their physical challenges.

EPAM Systems has created a GoFundMe page for anyone interested in donating to their cause. Click here to donate to EPAM Systems.
